Street photography encompasses a wide range of genres, and this week we'll be exploring the philosophy of Street Photography. That is a lifestyle-based approach focused on capturing authentic, candid moments in public spaces to find beauty in the mundane. It emphasizes curiosity, serendipity, and the democratic, often fleeting, nature of everyday life. It's about documenting the "here and now" and transforming ordinary, often unposed, scenes into artistic, meaningful narratives. It is more about capturing the feeling of the moment rather than the technical qualities of the image. It is the emotion, movement, and feeling that help create the image.

This was a great event. Really appreciate the opportunity to get out and safely take photos with a group of nice like minded people. Sue is a patient and knowledgeable teacher. She scoped the area and did all the planning with tides, sunrise times and locations to enable us to get the best shots we could. An early start but excellent morning.

I am very happy with my photos. I used my new Canon Gx7 Mk III and while it did take good photos, they are not in the same league as the Canon R6 Mk II. I liked doing ICMs and looking at the rain forest in a smaller viewpoint.

After hiking with friends, I walked around Daecheong Lake in South Korea and saw the overlapping of the lakeside grass and mountain ridges.
